Christ Church Chattanooga

Christ Church Chattanooga is an Episcopal church worshipping in the Anglo-Catholic tradition. Sunday morning worship is a rich sensory experience with colorful vestments, incense, and plainsong chant reverberating from the historic walls. We wanted their brand to feel like it came from inside their culture and history, like it’s always been there.

A stone cross etching on the exterior of the church inspired their logomark, and we added hand-drawn flourishes to an existing font to give it a tactile feel. Using the responses from their church questionnaire, we created a new website and copy that reflected their inclusive and progressive vision for the church.
